The 2025 session will be held June 21 - 27 on the campus of Campbell University.

All participants are endorsed by an American Legion Auxiliary Unit or American Legion Post. You do not apply directly to ALA Tar Heel Girls State. You should contact your counselor or school administrator to see if they have a contact for your local ALA Unit or AL Post. A list of Units and Posts can be found here.
